The Black Adder (Pilot)
1486. King Richard IV has gone off to fight in the crusades. His son Prince Harry has been appointed Regent, while Prince Edmund has been told to look after the sheep.
Harry asks Edmund to organise the St Leonard's Day celebrations. Meanwhile, Edmund is plotting to dicredit Harry by making it look as if he's illegitimate. Things don't go according to plan and it's Edmund's paternity that's called into question.
Edmund almost loses everything (including his life) when he tangles with a hairy Scotsman.
Also appearing:

This pilot episode was never transmitted. It was later remade as Series 1 Episode 2 ('Born To Be King').
