3: Lionel's New Hobby (21 Jan 96)
Lionel has too much time on his hands, so he decides to take up a new hobby - building model boats. Jean isn't sure it's such a good idea ... Alistair tries to help by suggesting that Lionel might like to dramatise an obscure book which has been published by his company.
4: Avoiding The County Set (28 Jan 96)
Lionel and Jean pay another visit to Rocky's house in the country. They go to great lengths to avoid the 'county set' who caused them so many problems during their previous visit.
5: Broadcast Plans (4 Feb 96)
Alistair tells Jean and Lionel that a date has been set for the transmission of the mini-series and invites them to visit the USA for the screening. Lionel is still annoyed about the changes made to his original script, so he refuses to go. Alistair offers to take Judith and Sandy instead. They jump at the chance.
6: At Death's Door (11 Feb 96)
The mini-series has finally been transmitted in the States. Everyone waits to see how well (or badly) it will be received. When Penny has to go into hospital, she convinces herself that it's far more serious than it really is. She makes a great show of 'putting her affairs in order' and asks Jean and Lionel to 'look after poor Stephen'.
7: Showered With Gifts (18 Feb 96)
Lionel and Jean are back at Rocky's house. They find themselves very popular with the villagers because of the way they dealt with the 'country set' a few weeks earlier. Everyone seems to want to give them a gift.
