A long-running series of sketch shows starring Benny Hill.
The programmes were never made as "proper" series but as occasional "specials" three or four times a year.
This was very much "formula" comedy, heavy on slapstick, particularly as far as the later ITV programmes were concerned.
The programmes proved to be extremely popular in the UK and in the USA.
