Jonathan Creek (Alan Davies) spends his days creating new tricks for illusionist Adam Klaus (Stuart Milligan).
In his spare time, Jonathan solves mysteries with the help of writer Maddy Magellan (Caroline Quentin).
Later, Jonathan is joined first by TV presenter Carla Borrego (Julia Sawalha) and then by Joey Ross (Sheridan Smith).
