The Ropers are going away for the weekend, so Robin, Chrissy and Jo decide that it would be a good time to hold a party.
2: Colour Me Yellow (16 Jan 74)
A big lout makes a pass at Chrissy in the pub. Robin doesn't stand up to him. Later, he feels guilty and starts worrying that everyone will think he's a coward. He sets out to put things straight.

Chrissy agrees to go away to Bournemouth with her new boyfriend. Robin discovers that he's married.

4: Did You Ever Meet Rommel? (30 Jan 74)
Robin invites a German student around for a meal.Meanwhile, Chrissy has invited the Ropers. George Roper doesn't like Germans, mainly because they knocked England out of the 1970 World Cup. It looks like being an interesting evening.

5: Two Foot Two, Eyes Of Blue (6 Feb 74)
Jo has agreed to babysit for a friend. She's also arranged to go out with her boyfriend at the same time. Robin and Chrissy are persuaded to look after the baby. They end up having to stay the night because the baby's mother goes into labour.
6: Carry Me Back To Old Southampton (13 Feb 74)
Robin fails his exams at college. It looks as if he'll have to go back home to Southampton to work in his father's business. Larry volunteers to take Robin's place in the flat. Then Robin decides to stay on and take his exams again.
