Four women who have recently been released from prison steal a fortune in cash and go on the run. They plan to head for Brabados but end up in Hope Springs, a small Scottish town.
They take over a run-down hotel as a temporary cover, but decide to stay after they lose their ill-gotten gains in a fire.
