1: Backwards (14 Nov 89)
The crew find their way back to Earth by means of a 'time hole'. Unfortunately, it's an Earth where time is running backwards.

Holly now has a female persona.
Kryten becomes a regular member of the crew.
2: Marooned (21 Nov 89)
Holly makes the crew leave Red Dwarf so that she can manouvre the ship past five black holes. Lister and Rimmer are marooned on an arctic moon until they are rescued by Kryten and the Cat. Holly admits that the 'black holes' were just bits of grit on one of her sensors.
3: Polymorph (28 Nov 89)
A genetic mutant which can change shape at will gets loose on the Red Dwarf. It feeds on the emotions of the crew members.

4: Bodyswap (5 Dec 89)
There's a crisis on board Red Dwarf and the ship is about to self-destruct. Lister uses a mind-swap to end the crisis. Rimmer then uses a similar technique to swap bodies with Dave Lister. He's supposed to be getting Lister's body fit, but ends up making it worse than ever.

5: Timeslides (12 Dec 89)
Kryten discovers some mutated developing fluid which produces photographs that the crew can walk into. Lister uses one of the photographs to change history and ends up back on Earth as a fabulously wealthy man. Rimmer uses a different photograph for a similar purpose and manages to inadvertently restore the status quo.

6: The Last Day (19 Dec 89)
Kryten discovers that he's reached his in-built expiry date. The crew throw a wild 'farewell' party for him. Next day, Kryten can't bring himself to switch off. Then his 'replacement' arrives and a violent confrontation ensues.
