Alan is asked to manage the Conservative Party's election campaign.

Alan gets death threats from animal rights campaigners. He also gets involved in a spot of drug dealing.

The government passes a law which takes social security benefits away from old age pensioners. Alan is in favour of this move, until his old mother turns up expecting him to look after her.

Alan faces a challenge from a local businessman who wants to replace him as the Tory MP for Haltemprice.
6: Profit Of Boom (11 Feb 91)
Alan goes to Russia to help to promote capitalism. He finds himself the target of the old guard, British and Russian. He ends up being arrested and sentenced to hard labour in a Russian gulag.
